The Beauty of Corn Gluten

Greetings from the Garden,

We have been loving this recent burst of warm weather and are enjoying watching the first Snowdrops and Hellebores spring to life. What is also coming alive in my garden? Weeds! Crabgrass, dandelions, clover…Yikes!

A natural solution for preventing weeds and ensuring a healthy lawn this year is Corn Gluten. A natural byproduct of the milling process, it is safe for pets and kids, so everyone can enjoy lush, green grass all season long. To get the most benefit from Corn Gluten, I recommend an application within the next month.

Corn Gluten slowly releases nitrogen to fertilize your grass, helping roots grow deeper (less watering) and keeps your lawn full and healthy throughout the growing season. Additionally, Corn Gluten is also a great seed inhibitor, preventing dandelions and crabgrass from sprouting.

So, roll up those sleeves, soak up that sun (while it’s out!), and apply some Corn Gluten to spend less time worrying about your lawn and more time enjoying it!

Cheers to the start of another growing season,
